I was born on March 1972 in Rome.
I live and work in Incisa Valdarno, a little town near Florence, in Italy.
I am self-taught as an illustrator.
I have started to work in the world of illustration as a collaborator of the Boni-Galante's art studio.
I have worked there for one a half years and now I have decided
to start to follow my own personal research in illustration.
Thesedays I'm leading my art studio and working with many other collaborators.
My artworks have been published all over the world by large and small publishing houses such as:
McRae Books, McGraw Hill, Blackbirch Press, Giunti, De Agostini, Utet,
Mondadori, Franco Panini, Fabbri, Orpheus Books, Peter Bedrick Books,
Hatier, Fleurus-Mame, Franklin Watts, Stoddart Kids, MacDonald Books,
Cherrytree Books, Ladybird Books and many others.
Personally, I really love naturalistic illustration. With my collaborator Fabiano Fabbrucci
and others we work in every aspect of popular scientific and educational illustration.
Currently I am mostly working in digital formats.

I'm also a teacher in Polimoda, an International Higher School of Fashion design in Florence, Italy.
